MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS

9. May 2013

In cooperation with the ULUPUH gallery in Zagreb, we would like to invite you to the exhibition Musical Instruments (Glasbila) by Stipan Kujundžić, which will run from 9 to 31 May 2013 at Atelje Galerija, Gallusovo nabrežje 29, Ljubljana.
Cooperation is a primary human need. Cooperating means doing things together, building and feeling together, and having something in common. The exhibition Musical Instruments by academy-trained sculptor Stipan Kujundžić is the first joint project by the Ljubljana-based Atelje Galerija and the Zagreb-based ULUPUH gallery. International gallery cooperation always carries a special note within itself, and this time the medium of this cooperation is art, which thanks to the universal language with which it speaks to us is comprehensible everywhere, regardless of the geographical, cultural, and other boundaries that surround us. It seems that this exhibition could not be better timed. Namely, it presents not only the renowned artist and his works, but consequently also provides food for thought and insight into the fragments of the cultural heritage of Slovenia’s neighbouring country, with which Slovenia, enters a new shared community in 2013, after having separated from Yugoslavia twenty-two years ago.
